{Kate’s Fairy Garden Party} Fabulous Fairy Wings, Tutus & Wands!

Share To:

When I decided on a fairy theme for Kate’s party, I envisioned all of the little girls in wings and tutus. I found adorable wings at Dress Up Wholesale, and along with perfect clip-on flowers. When my package arrived, I was thrilled! The wings matched perfectly with the party color scheme. However, one of the packages of flowers I ordered was missing, with no note/email. It took me days to get a hold of someone there, but I finally did just in the nick of time. They sent what I needed and now I can say that I am a happy customer. Their prices are incredible and the products were adorable. Just be sure to order with plenty of time in case they run out of the items you are hoping for! I knew that I wouldn’t have time to make tutus for all of the girls, so I asked my mom if she would. I sent her the Tutu Tutorial that Joanne created for me, and voila!….she made 16 tutus in a matter of days! She picked up the white tulle in the wedding section of Michael’s when it was on sale ($5/100 yards) and did the knotted technique described in the tutorial. We added pink, orange, yellow & green ribbon to tie-in with the colors of the wings and flowers.
My friend Lisa recently threw her daughter a fairy party and had made adorable wands for the girls. She offered to make them for Kate’s party and coordinated the colors perfectly! The flowers are the clip-on ones from Halo Heaven, and can easily be removed from the wand to be used as a hair clip! Lisa is working on a tutorial for these, so I will post in the next week or two!

The girls looked so adorable!

I'm so inspired by your talent and creativity. My daughter is turning "3" this year too, in August and is a Tinkerbell fan just like your daughter, also. She wanted a Tinkerbell party, but I like the idea of having a fairy garden party. It was fate that I came across your site. I'm so hooked to your blog. Thank you for sharing your ideas and resources. I can't wait to get started with the planning. Thank you for the inspiration! 🙂
