Share To:

Happy Cupcake Monday! With so many creative CUPCAKE books out now, we thought it would be fun to do a cupcake book round-up! Here are just a few of the MANY cupcake books I found to help inspire your inner “Martha“. If it’s decorating you love~ break out your edible glitter, candies, and cutters because some of these books are heavy on the decorating!  Do you have a favorite cupcake book or recipe that’s not pictured here? If so, please do tell! Leave a comment below with you favorite cupcake book recipe.

  1. Great round up Tanya! My favorite is Martha Stewart’s Cupcakes, but will definitely have to check out some of your suggestions. Thanks!

Any cupcake cookbook in my mind ROCKS but for sure the best in my opinion would be Crazy about Cupcakes…..I can relate with anything crazy. Oh ya!!

    • Tanya says:

Crazy about Cupcakes looks amazing to me too, Trish;)

AGREE!!! Crazy about cupcakes is awesome. There are so many recipes in there and everyone I’ve tried is delicious. Actually just made the Pina Colada ones tonight. Add a little toasted coconut and dried pinapple on top and they are to die for.

  3. I just got the Martha cupcake book and love it! I also just got Babycakes and it is such a gorgeous book with sweet recipes! I love the retro feel of the pictures 🙂

i’m a Cupcake book addict. who doesn’t love cupcakes? Just purchased a couple actually, Hello Cupcake and What’s new Cupcake? both by Karen Tack and Alan Richardson, purchased at one of my fav’s Hobby Lobby and love that they let you use their 40% off coupon on book purchases as they usually aren’t cheap. This one shares alot of the novelty cupcakes, fun to look at but don’t think you’ll ever bake, so that would be “eye candy”. The receipes are always great to have and share. and oh BTW love you website!

  5. I love the “Hello Cupcake” book.

I have one that I really like, called “101 Gourmet Cupcakes in 10 minutes” by Wendy Paul. It’s a good one for people like me who like to keep the baking simple and focus on the decorating. 🙂 There are all kinds of creative flavors, and they all start with a regular boxed cake mix. So they’re fast and easy, but taste more complicated than they really are!

  7. okay, so I have several that I love. Even if just for inspiration & not following all recipes to a “t”

    cupcakes! – by elinor klivans
the buttercup bake shop cookbook by jennifer appel

one of our house favorites – sticky, chewy, messy, gooey treats for kids. by Jill O’Connor

& these two arent necessarily cupcake related but SOOOO good. Great cake & other recipes in them.

The Farm Chicks In the Kitchen – by teri edwards & serena thompson

Serendipity Sundaes by Steven Bruce. – THIS IS A MUST HAVE for many reasons 🙂

  8. Kim says:

OH MY do you HAVE all of them???? If so, I am coming over to visit.

  9. Lux says:

Little Cakes from the Whimsical Bakehouse by kaye hansen is a great book! All of the Whimsical Bakehouse books are fabulous!
