How to Make Sweet Candy Lanterns :: Tutorial Tuesday

Share To:

candy globes lanternsAs I mentioned, I am hoping to share more tutorials with you this year! I plan on sharing both original tutorials created by us here at The TomKat Studio, as well as fabulous party tutorials we spot on other blogs! To start, I thought I would share this ADORABLE idea from our friends, Kellie + Melissa at Icing Designs. It is so simple, yet so pretty! These would be perfect for a candy themed party! I think they would be darling in bright colors too, to match our lollipop party theme! Materials: paper lanterns, tulle and ribbon. You simply cut layers of tulle (they used 6 layers of about 12″ long for each side of a small lantern) and tie with ribbon to secure to the metal frame of the lantern on each side. So cute, right?
