While we were up in Flagstaff recently, we setup a coffee and hot chocolate bar for our guests! It’s that time of year when you may be hosting family and guests and this idea is a perfect morning surprise! Or, use our ideas to host a gathering for your girlfriends one morning before school gets out for Winter break! Here are a few tips for creating the perfect coffee bar…

Tip #1:  Start with cute coffee mugs, stack and display on a tray. Add candy canes for a festive touch!

To-go cups are also a great idea for guests that can’t stay long and would like to take one for the road!

Tip #2: Offer your favorite coffee, but also serve hot chocolate in case any of your guests aren’t coffee drinkers!

Tip #3: A coffee bar wouldn’t be complete without COFFEE-MATE flavored creamers. Serve your favorite flavors! We used Peppermint Mocha, Butter Toffee and Spiced Rum Cake. Perfect for the holidays!

I think this is a GREAT idea Kim! Since everyone’s time is so limited this time of year, this would also be a great idea to host a casual get together for your neighbors without having to do a huge party, but it would still be festive. Or, I could see this as a great start to families who go together to cut down their Christmas trees!
