    Fabulous Kim…thanks so much 🙂

  2. Wow! How A-mazing are these chevron flags for Cinco De Mayo! I love them as cupcake toppers too! And a great round up too. So many great printables, it’s hard to choose which is my favorite. A Blog hop too?? Great ideas. Already visiting as we speak 🙂 Had to share some of these fabulous ideas with my followers too!

The fact that we celebrate, and in the way that we do, this holiday is completely offensive. Native Mexicans do not make these cupcakes. Chevron cupcake flags in no shape or form represent the French occupation of Mexico (in the wake of the Mexican-American War no less). This is an embarrassing example of our appropriations.
