You may remember a couple months ago when I blogged about the shopping site, Gilt. At the time, they were hosting a Kate Spade Sale that got me quite excited and I purchased a fabulous bag that I absolutely love! After learning more about the company, I decided to read the recently published book, By Invitation Only, written by Gilt co-founders, Alexis Maybank and Alexandra Wilkis Wilson. The book was so inspiring and I was amazed by the story of these two young, brilliant women that came up with this business idea and quickly turned it into a billion dollar company (WOW!). Ironically, a few weeks ago I was contacted by….you guessed it….GILT. I am now working with them to host a sale for The TomKat Studio!
