Happy Friday! We have a fun giveaway for you this week! You all know our sweet friend Becki Crosby from Whippy Cake. Well, this year, Becki has decided to take her business and her brand in a different and exciting direction! Through Whippy Cake and her education in cosmetology and professional styling, she has established herself as the go-to-girl for personal and photo styling (hair, makeup + wardrobe!). Since our girl, Becki is local here in Phoenix, we have partnered with her on several of our photo shoots recently, including our New Year’s Eve Party shoot for HGTV, where she not only did the model styling, but modeled for us as well. Becki has now switched gears and will be offering styling and business consultations! In Becki’s words:
My motivation for switching from headbands to just consulting was to make a greater difference. The headbands were pretty much taking up all my time and energy and my friends, family, and blog suffered from it. Through my public speaking and styling experiences I realized how much I absolutely LOVE being able to make a difference with my clients. I find it intensely fulfilling when someones self esteem or attitude can be improved for the better because of something I did or said. Making people happy became the obvious choice for what I want to be doing.
Have a photo shoot or special occasion coming up? Becki will be offering consultations on hair styling, make up application and wardrobe choices. She will also offer personal styling for people looking for tutoring on their own personal style. Clients will learn the theories of wardrobe selection, body type, coloring, face shape and how their lifestyle plays a role in their personal style. This can be done in your home OR virtually via Skype! She will also offer business consulting for people looking to refine their business image. I absolutely LOVE Becki’s style. It’s classy and chic and so fun! If I could seek out one thing from her it would be how to put certain clothing patterns and color together for a plus size figure. What looks best and really most flattering!
