Valentine’s Day Teacups :: 14 Days of Sweet Valentine Ideas

Our sweet friend, Jessica from Pen N’ Paper Flowers recently shared an adorable idea for Valentine’s Day! All you need is a basic white teacup and saucer, a black sharpie marker and some festive valentine candy to make this adorable gift!

So cute, right? From this…

To this…

I love how Jess used the words from my favorite song right now, A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. I posted this video on Facebook back in November when I first discovered it and I’ve listened to it a million times since then. It might have something to do with the fact that it’s on the Breaking Dawn soundtrack and the video includes clips from the movie. It it gives me the goosebumps! Watch it for yourself….

I love that, I just have horrible writing, so mine would look like a 3 year old made it.

I didn’t realize it was as simple as using sharpie markers to decorate teacups and plates! Can’t wait to try this, perhaps with red sharpie markers? :)
