Milk and Cookies Birthday Party

Share To:

I am so excited to share this customer party with you! Angela contacted me about the Milk & Cookies party that she was planning for her daughter, Amelia. This is a theme that I have loved since I saw it first here on A Party Style by Anne Powers. She did a beautiful job and I loved the chocolate brown and white details. My customer wanted to incorporate bright pink, blue and green with the brown and white. I was all in! I designed a full collection for her and she took it from there. Her attention to detail is spectacular and you will all go crazy over the cake! The beautiful details were captured by Lindey of Lindey Magee Photography! Enjoy!

We’re hoping to share the details on how to make these fantastic tiered plate stands this week!

I adore the tablecloth that matches the paper goods perfectly!

What’s a Milk & Cookies party without milk?

Look at this adorable shirt that Amelia wore, made by Sassy Monkeys!

Thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous party with us, Angela!
You did such a fabulous job! Amelia is an absolute doll!
We can’t wait to see your ideas for her next birthday!

I'd LOVE to know what lens Lindsey used to capture that group at the table… or did she manipulate the image for such great group focus? Cool!
This is my favorite printables yet this year! xo

    • lindey says:

hey jeni- i shot wide open, but did enhance the blur while editing because the image was so busy & i didn’t want anything to take away from amelia and her friends :o)

    This is SO cute!!

Where can I find brown bags for cookies? Or cute polka dot napkins/plates? Any ideas?? =)

    • Angela says:

I got the bags at Michaels, and the napkins came from Party City. Polka Dot Market also has some precious polka dotted tableware.

      • Karin says:

Did the tablecloth come from Party City as well? The brown polka dot tablecloth pulls it all together!
I love this party!! Thanks for sharing!

        • Angela says:

          Karin,
The tablecloth is actually just fabric that I bought at Hobby Lobby and cut to size. I trimmed off the excess threads, and it’s an instant cute tablecloth!

  13. Ansley says:

All of your stuff is so amazing and adorable. The cakes cookies and decoration are just amaaaaing! SO CUTE!
    🙂

  14. Kelly says:

I am doing an owl themed birthday party for my little girls first birthday, but i plan to use these colors. I would love to know where the ribbon came from thats used on the labels and jars. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Kelly

    • Sharla says:

The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby…at least, that is where I got mine & it looks exactly the same. They often have 40% off coupons online too, and sales on their ribbon fairly frequently. Good luck!

  15. Tiffani says:

This is absolutely adorable! We are planning my daughter’s 1st birthday party with a similar theme. Would you mind sharing where you got the milk carafes and mini milk bottles? Beautiful job just beautiful!

  16. Kirsti says:

Love the theme and plan to do it – where do you find the large bottles (with lids) for the milk? I’m using “recycled” Starbucks Frapp bottles for the invidivual glass bottles. REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE! 🙂

  21. Jessica says:

To everyone asking about the milk carafes… I searched EVERYWHERE for these and could not find them, but I just ran across them by accident at Crate and Barrel so I thought I’d share the link!
