{Events} Deserving Kids Treated Like Royalty at Disney on Ice Event!

Share To:

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to share this amazing event. A few months ago, I was asked by Disney on Ice to help with a local event for children affiliated with March of Dimes and HOPE Kids. I jumped at the opportunity to create a dessert table for an event to celebrate these deserving children. The event was held at the Castle at Ashley Manor and coordinated by Jenn Hepner of Hepner Communications. My lovely photographer friends, Laura Winslow and Haleigh Rohner captured this special event beautifully.  The party was held the day of the opening show of The Princess Classics.

I asked several of my favorite vendors to bake the delicious desserts. Jill from Modern Cupcake donated dozens of her yummy cupcakes and I topped with Disney Princess cupcake toppers.

Jill from L’il Darling Sweet Shoppe created the Princess cakes based on my daughter, Kate’s Barbie cake from her recent party. They were adorable! I used dress forms and Kate’s princess costumes for decorating the table.

Sarah from Bundles of Cookies shipped in these darling dress and heart cookies for the table. A perfect match with the princess cakes.

The kids were so excited to be there and had so much fun. Radio Disney was there to provide entertainment and games for the kids.

Even Cinderella made an appearance and the children were so excited to see her!

After her appearance, Cinderella left in her gorgeous horse-drawn carriage….just like a fairytale!

Hi, I was wondering where you got your little carriage from? Because my sister’s wedding is coming up and we’re looking for ideas for her centerpiece and I’ve been looking everywhere for that carriage. If you could please let me know it would be awesome !
