We are very excited to be part of the official blog tour for the new book, Sugarlicious by our friend, Meaghan Mountford. She sent me a copy of her new book and it’s filled with sweetness! From birthday ideas to holiday creations, it is filled with unique projects to satisfy any sweet craving. As part of the book tour, we are giving away copy of Sugarlicious along with a Sugarlicious apron, hot pink oven mitt, spatula, post-it notes, and a little recipe booklet.
Meaghan writes the blog The Decorated Cookie but it is about more than just cookies. Meaghan shares ideas for all types of sweets. She loves to paint marshmallows, draw on sweets and create new ideas never seen before. She is especially fond of putting sweets on sticks! There are tons of beautiful pictures and wonderful tutorials. She also the Edible Crafts editor at Craft Gossip. She is one busy lady! We are so thrilled that she has turned all of her amazing sweets into a book. You can find more information about the book here.

How sweet it is–and so creative too! One of my favorite sweets, especially this time of year, is “Snow on a Plowed Field” cookie. Chocolate cookie dough, rolled in powdered sugar and baked=delicious chewy yum!

oh, my! My heart is racing, my hands are shaking, is it a sugar high?!!!! I would LUV to have these. I’m hopelessly fond of cute cookie cutters and decorating cookies, cupcakes, and …. candy!!!! Hard to find cookbooks for candy, now, but I love making sweets for my sweeties. I make aprons, too, but I give them all away, it would be sooo much fun to receive one, esp one so cute!!!

I totally love cupcakes! And sugar cookies! Cupcakes because I adore anything in miniature and sugar cookies cause, well, there just good! I searched and searched for the best sugar cookie recipe that I could find and now I make them for favors at my girls birthday parties.

my favorite sweet treat is carmel cake. Carmel cake is my favorite sweet treat because of the warm carmel that is inbetween each layer of yellow cake, and the drizzled carmel that is on the top of the cake just melts in your mouth.

I love cakes any form be it cake pop, cupcakes or whole cakes as long as it is beautifully decorated with edible toppings.Assorted berries top my list when it comes to toppings. The berries created an ever lasting classic look. What’s more? An added bonus it is packed with all the anti oxidants nutrients.
