Reindeer Feed :: Packaging Idea & Printable Tags

Our reindeer food labels are such a popular download, that we decided to create another design this year for you! What is “Reindeer Feed” you ask? It’s oats mixed with glitter that the kids sprinkle on the lawn on Christmas Eve to be sure that the reindeer don’t miss the house! (Be sure the kids don’t eat the reindeer food!) Print our new label and poem to attach to the reindeer feed and give out to your neighbors/friends to be sure Santa finds your house this year! The poem reads:

Sprinkle this reindeer food outside tonight.
The moonlight will make it sparkle bright.
As the reindeer fly and roam,
this will guide them to your home.

Cute, right?

How perfect are our mini square containers filled with reindeer feed? You can order them here, along with our 2.25″ circle punch perfect for these labels!

  1. Cute Kim! Those little kraft boxes are sooo adorable! Little things like this help make the season magical for the kids! Thanks for the free download!

  2. Tina says:

Oh my gosh, this may be the cutest thing EVER! My kids still love doing things like this, so I will make a batch and give one container to my son and daughter….they will LOVE it! They will think it is magical! Our elf Buddy still delights them and we are going to make Cookies for Santa that you featured earlier in the week. THANK YOU Kim, for such fabulous and easy ideas to make Christmas even more special!!

  3. Janine Berryhill says:

I did this last year for the first time and my daughter started asking me this past Thanksgiving if we were making the feed this year? 🙂 So not to get any animals sick, I used cookie sprinkles and Kellogs Special K’s Yogurt and Fruit cereal instead of glitter. Still was a hit!!!

  4. Diana says:

My daughter made the reindeer feed at school last year and had so much fun sprinkling outside Christmas eve. I’m so happy you shared this project, I was hoping to make it again. So cute!!
    Thanks for sharing another freebie!!

  5. Cloe says:

Thank you for the lovely printable Kim! I just used these to make Reindeer Feed for all the kids (nephews/ nieces/little cousins & friends) who will be visiting us during the Holidays:) I arranged them in a tray and am keeping them in our lobby. Happy Holidays!
