It’s that time of the year again, when my sweet daughter, Kate and I start talking about her upcoming birthday party! Which means, it’s that time again to finally share last year’s party here on the blog! She decided on the theme Peace & Love last year with a fun, bright color palette! We invited all of the girls over to the house then headed out to the local skating rink. We came back after skating for desserts and a sleepover. The girls had so much fun!
My sweet girl, Kate! I found her darling dress at Gap Kids and it matched her theme absolutely perfectly! How cute is she? If you’ve followed my blog for awhile, you’ve probably watched her grow up with me blogging her parties every year! You guys, she’s growing up way too fast. The years sure do fly by. Don’t forget to enjoy every moment!
You can see her previous parties here:
- Cotton Candy Party (8th)
- Sweet Dreams Pajama Party (7th)
- Rainbow Heart Party (6th)
- Mermaid Party (5th)
- Glamour Girl Party (4th)

- Cupcake Party (1st)
For her 9th birthday party, we used the TomKat Peace & Love Collection which was designed with Kate in mind! It features bright colors and modern style. You can find the printed pieces (ready-to-ship) including the happy birthday banner, cupcake toppers, favor tags and straw flags as well as our exclusive TomKat happy birthday cake topper in the shop! You will also find the other party decor including the tassel garland, paper lanterns, treat cups, cupcake liners, striped plates, napkins, cups and straws, cake stands in our shop! Everything you need to create this party table at home!
I ordered the darling cake and customized cookies from a local baker, Inspired Sugar! I made the cupcakes and my mom made the cute mini ice cream cone meringues!
I hope you like how Kate’s party turned out! I can’t wait to share the details of this year’s celebration! Follow me on instagram for updates and behind the scenes planning peeks!
